Everything about our stay at the Tara guest house was spot on. We arrived to a beautiful home like place with friendly people, beautiful garden and clean room with ac, fly nets, plugs and clean bathroom. Greeted with lemonade, they kept us stocked with cold mineral water that I could use to refill my bottles and save plastic. Oh and a free walk to the village for sunset was slovenly. The food was delicious and better than any restaurant you can find on the strip in sauhara and much cheaper too. They offered us breakfast before our early bus and took us to the station in their jeep. All in all it was an amazing stay

The family is very kind and welcoming, they help you organise your stay there. The day we arrived the husband, who is a licensed guide, took us for a free walk at sunset and we saw rhinos, crocodiles, deers, toucans… We did one day the canoe, walking tour and jeep and the other day a walking tour outside the park, both at a very reasonable price. Both were amazing and both guides were very knowledgeable and kept us safe, we were lucky and saw a lot of animals. You can eat at the homestay, affordable homemade food, the rooms are big with mosquito net, the wifi works perfectly. We had long conversations about the life in Sauraha before and now, which were really interesting. Lila helped us book the bus for Lumbini. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!! We will come again!!

Prakash was extremely helpful and professional. He helped us book our safari tours, arranged a scooter and booked our bus tickets back to Kathmandu. Anything we needed he made it easy. The hotel is very clean and in a great location for viewing rhinos coming out of the park. It’s also a quiet location but close enough to downtown to walk.

На разположение на гостите има ресторант. - Hotel is situated in a calm area of Chitwan and still just five minutes away from the city center where all restaurants and shops are located - Hotel consists of a large complex including very nice areas to sit outside near the rice fields - Staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help, on the last day the owner even drove us to the bus station - The free of charge welcome activity that is offered by the hotel was a lot of fun and provided a great first overview of the city - The half day Jeep safari that we booked over the hotel was well organized and even included drop off and pick up service by the staff - Highly, highly recommend the food in the hotel! It was always freshly cooked and by far the best food that we had in Chitwan.

Attending directly to all of our needs be it tours,taxis, cycle hire or cultural performances it gave us a memorable experience of Sauraha and the Chitwan region. Just far enough from the hustle but close to town and surrounded by locals going about daily life. With the host’s favourite response of “no problem “ you can’t go wrong.
