Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the Granny Flat too. Both Wolfgang and Maria were lovely hosts. I'm definitely thinking of going back either later this year or in May of next year.

The house is new, confortable and super super clean!! Everything you could need is there: a walk-in closet where to put bags, bathroom things (shampoo, conditioner, bodysoap and extra thing if you missed something), TV, sofa, an extra large bed, a tea or coffe corner: everything! Trisha is a fantastic owner and can prepare for you a delicious Irish breakfast; you can also get advice from her where to go for your trip (very close to Cliffs of Moher for example). Trisha we loved your home and we hope to come back soon!!

Rooms were very clean and the building was newly renovated. The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the owners are the sweetest and we’re very helpful in finding things to do and get the most out of our trip! We went to see the cliffs of Moher and this property was only 15 min away! Perfect little getaway!
