And I was needing to charge my phone and get to hospital. They just have an intercom, I told him everything. I had to wait 20 hours before I could even get my luggage, had to lie on a couch freezing and not go to hospital, as nobody came to help when I talked to the intercom guy to get into the room.

I liked the quiet neighborhood. The bathroom was shared, but I did not find that to be a problem. The hallway was smelling really nice and the hostess was super friendly.

Cosy Apartment Merode 2 is set in the Etterbeek district of Brussels, 1.9 km from European Parliament, 3.7 km from Mont des Arts and 3.7 km from Brussels Central Station. the bed was fantastic, the location amazing (super market just next door, metro station in the corner) all perfect. All the details with luxury (lots of light, excellent quality towels, shower powerful, all new and fresh). The landlord with excellent communication, available, very kind. it was one of the best flats I stayed with.

Apartment - Place Jourdan & EU institutions is set in the Etterbeek district of Brussels, 1.1 km from Berlaymont, 2.2 km from Magritte Museum and 2.3 km from Place Royale. The location is terrific - next to Place Jourdan and Park Leopold. My two kids could use a playground directly across the street and a bigger one with a sandbox at Park Leopold. There are public transport options nearby and it takes about 30 min to walk to the tourist center. The apartment is new and comfortable with space to spread out in and not feel cramped.

Maybe I was just lucky - but it was calm at night (outside and inside of the house) and this is exactly what one needs before starting a new working day. I enjoyed my stay in Brussels. There is a water kettle in the room but I did not bring any tea bags with me - do not forget your favorite teas (or coffee). :)

Breakfast is always special. And we are happy they offered lunch too. Location is close to the forest which we really loved. Nice and warm owners. We had a restful stay in their comfortable rooms. The friendly dogs are additional attraction for my kids 😁
