Our host was a great resource for information and tips about the local area, food and activities we could do, also for when the weather was rainy. Wow, what a location! The view from up here down to the town and the river is stunning. The yurt was warm and comfortable even on a rainy cold evening. The lamas outside were fun to look at (and quiet), even when wet. I loved the little self-serve 24/7 store out front that provided healthy dinner items since it was a late arrival and the restaurants in town were closed. I liked that there was a small kitchen area with stove top and sink where you can do some real cooking.
