The staff and Zuzana were friendly and helpful, the room was in good condition, very clean, and the location, just a minute walk from the beach, was perfect. The breakfast was also great. As a female solo traveler, it's always nice to meet new people whom you can trust and feel safe with. This was definitely the case at Karibu House! Both Vanessa and Cristina are amazing hosts. Actually, the best ones I ever met. When they went out for drinks or activities they always invited the guests and included everyone. They also organized a BBQ, dancing class etc etc. Thank you ladies for being so amazing. My Zanzibar experience would not at all have been the same without you and our family! If I ever go back to Zanzibar, I'll make sure I'll see these ladies again and bring some nice white wine for Vanessa 😉 Besides the vibe, it's nice little spot in between the main road and beach so excellent location. The rooms are tidy, there's a refrigerator and you can use the kitchen and laundry machine which is also a bonus.

A small paradise oasis with 11 beautiful rooms located around a perfectly sized swimming pool. The hotel feels like brand new and is very well maintained. You can almost feel the owners' love for their hotel. WiFi is good. The water pressure in the showerroom is very good, and amazingly hot water is coming from your private heater. The pool and garden area are so comfortable that you almost forget that you are not alone in this world. There is a small restaurant/bar with a short menu if you feel to stay in. The host and staff are amazing. If you have requests, they are following you up immediately (not as in many hotels, where they smile and say yes, but nothing actually happens).

Situated in Nungwi, within 500 metres of Supermarket and less than 1 km of East Africa Diving, MITI Beach Bungalows features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well... Super nice staff, shout out to Juma and Victoria! There are only 6 rooms, so quite a cosy feeling in the facility. Nice breakfast options (also nice food on the menu!). Very close to the path that leads down to the beach (aprox 10 min walk).
