La Posta del Guardiano is a lovely B&B on the outskirts of Vieste, sitting above the town up a steep hill, so not really walkable, though only 4 mins by car. The front of the B&B has a spacious terrace looking out over the Gargano, where you can sit at any time but especially when eating the generous breakfast provided. The host, Marco, was very friendly and helpful with advice about good restaurants. The room was very clean, modern and well equipped, with USB sockets by the bed, an excellent walk-in shower, and a private terrace. The bed was really comfortable - it had an Emma mattress - so we slept very well here, given the general comfort and the peaceful surroundings. It was nice being greeted by the two friendly spaniels when we came and went at our leisure.

Everything was great. From the location, right on the edge of the coast, to the welcoming hosts, caring and kind in every way, to the room, extremely comfortable and with a perfect patio, to the beautiful sights and views of the Gargano national park. The tips from the hosts were detailed and great, but not only that, they themselves were also always ready to go above and beyond for us. We hope to be back soon.
