Located in the quaint old town in Shangri-La, Arro Khampa Boutique Hotel features design rooms with wooden furnishings. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. We went at off-peak season and the uncle who works the front desk doubled as our driver for a day. He suggested we go to Na Pai Hai and Songzalin Monastery-- we had a great time at both places, and he gave us a great rate. The staff went to our rooms to serve hot yaks milk the winter night-- perfect way to end the night especially for my niece, who is six years old. Breakfast is also fantastic, highly recommend the fried noodles. Super well located in Shangri-la city. We had lots of big luggage and were traveling with a kid, but the hotel helped us with everything including late-night airport transfer, and recommendations on where to eat in the city.

Tucked away in the fabled Shangri-La, Courtyard Shangri-la 藏舍小院 is a peaceful setting featuring cosy guestrooms of Tibetan touches. Hotel owner is so helpful and friendly. She speak some English, but communicated with us so well! She sent us the locations of bike rental, coffee shops and more. She also helped with organizing trips and buses. Couldn’t recommend this place more. It was a little hard to find as the sign was covered by a bush,but she came outside looking for us

The best place to know the city of Shangri-la. The Jun family and staff are very kind and easy to get information about the city. The hostel is lovely and very comfortable. The shower is great, very warm for the cold days and always being clean. The night can sit around the wood stove, have tea and make new friends. Also has a diverse kitchen, I ordered some dishes with friends and it was all delicious! The location is also perfect, I did everything by walking.

Providing river views, The blue mountains on the moon in Shangri-La offers accommodation, a garden, a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The bathroom it's awesome!! Shangri-La is super cold place but the hostel toilet bowl is digital with temperature. When u go toilet is comfy. 😁 I went to Lijiang & Dali also without this facilities. Host got offer book car return Lijiang & Shangri-La, price also reasonable. Hostel provide 2 heater., room it's big, breakfast it's delicious. Recommended
