This is a great resort that's family friendly. We were located away from the noise but close enough that we can walk to the pool and/or beach. Our young kids loved the pool and the amenities that came with the resort. The room was clean and comfortable. There are a lot of activities to do on the property for everyone.

The facility needs an update. It just looks tired. Staff were friendly and the room clean. We had a dehumidifier in the room that needed to be emptied 2-3 times a day.

Amelia Island, or rather, Fernandina Beach and the Seaside Inn Amelia Island are at the top of our east coast of Florida travel memories. We've stayed on the beach at St. Augustine, Flagler, Daytona, Ormond, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm, and Boca Raton. The quite atmosphere and perfect restaurant choices/locations on Amelia are terrific! If quieter, stress-free relaxation is what you are wanting, look no further.

My favorite spot was the beach at where we stayed Beachside Motel. Walked out of my room and there it was. Riptide Rentals had my chairs and umbrella all set out for us. GREAT,. We ate at Salty Pelican 3 nights. That is how good it was. We ate at the Beach Diner for breakast and twice at Masons Lobster Rolls (which were exactly as I remembered in Maine) I could have eaten there every night. Baba's Mediterranean for lunch. Nanas pastry for dessert. No dissapointments all great.

Thanks !!! See ya next time. In historic downtown, Cafe Karibo was OUTSTANDING and the BEST meal we had during our 4 day stay, hands-down. Ciao restaurant in historic downtown was a bit of a disappointment...way too LOUD inside...food was "ehhh"...staff/service was "ehhh"...probably won't go back there...ehhh. We loved the location and friendly staff. The shower floor wasn't clean enough for me, I wore rubber sandals for protection. The blind on the view window was broken so I was unable to open fully to see the ocean. The furniture was good, a little used but understandable. It's a great room to relax. The roof top seating was a big plus! Loved it! Very clean! Walking distance to Egan Creek, State park and ocean walk was perfect! Food was okay nearby but we liked the Salty Pelican more, plus the Western sunset is always a pleasure to see, only 2 miles from hotel.LindaUnited States - 10Scored 10

Fernandina Beach is beautiful and the town is very interesting. It reminded me of a mini Savannah. There are great restaurants in all price ranges. The local history museum was perfect for a rainy day and the museum at American Beach was outstanding.

We loved it so much we ended up extending our trip a day! Really cute downtown with a lot of restaurants, coffee, shops, and etc. I don't think I've ever been somewhere with such friendly people! On top of that, the seafood was amazing as expected haha! We loved Nana Teresa's Bake Shop for baked treats, Hola Cuban Cafe for coffee, and the Patio for great dinners and live music!
