Ideally located in the highest village in Portugal, El Rei Dom Manuel Hotel is housed in a historic building, its rooms offer breathtaking and stunning views over the landscapes of Portugal and Spain.... The hotel is lovely, filled with thoughtful details like port waiting in the room for an evening toast. The food in the restaurant is lovely. They even brought gluten free bread to my friend who had told them she couldn’t eat gluten but hadn’t asked for anything special. Manuel checked in with us to be sure we were happy throughout our stay. Lovely!

Hotel José Régio has a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Portalegre. This 4-star hotel offers an ATM and a business centre. The room was incredible. The choice of pillows allowed me to find "just right". Location close to bus station and near tourist sites.

Located in the heart of historical Portalegre, Rossio Hotel is a themed eco-friendly, design hotel, which features solar panels, UTA units in the rooms and reuses rainwater for several purposes. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Special note to the breakfast service. The quality of breakfast was great, the service was amazing. Very dedicated and organized. Surprisingly beautiful table

The setting looking out over the hills and the country, swimming pool, close to beautiful places to visit, large suite, and lounge and veranda were lovely to sit in. Aleida was delightful and very helpful .

Situated in 2 small traditional whitewashed houses in Marvão, this charming pousada offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains from its restaurant. Location was unique for us , our first time to stay inside a fortress/walled city. It’s comfy,BF was standard but quite good.

This 3-star hotel is located in Portagem, on the banks of the Sever River, where guests can enjoy a public pool. It has free WiFi and views of the historic village of Marvão. It is kind of hard to find place. It is a small hotel in a beautiful green place. We had been upgraded to (2) rooms with balcony and a view of the restaurant and the river and the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed that very much and thank you for that bonus. The breakfast was good, not excellent,We tried to convince the lady to make for us eggs sunny side up but we got scrambled eggs. It is not a big deal. Al in all it is a beautiful, nice and very clean place to stay. Well worth the money.
