Located high in the Atlas Mountains, Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is an eco-friendly hotel with a hot tub, children’s swimming pool and an organic garden. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Really good hospitality. They provided dinner (150dh per person) and breakfast at a time of our choosing (with 1 hour notice). The dinner is truly amazing, 3 courses and topped off with a delicious mousse. The staff also played light drumming which perfectly matched the setting. The tables were all lit by candlelight, which truly made the evening something special within the gorge. The cave rooms are warm but we were very comfortable. The shower was very powerful and amazing for an off grid setup. Actually one of the best showers we had even in such isolation in a gorge. This is the best hotel we stayed at whilst in Morocco. The price is mid range but the value is above what you pay. Definitely the best place we stayed on our road trip to Merzouga and chefchaouen. Free private parking right at the doorstep.

Bob was a wonderful host, full of enthusiasm and very diligent. We were met with tea on arrival and he always made sure our needs were being met. We were asked ahead of time if we were going to have dinner with them and were glad we decided to. The multi-course dinner was good and huge for €15 per person. Breakfast was the typical Moroccan breakfast offering plus other stuff in the form of a buffet. The rooms are quite small and basic but clean and comfy. It is next to the road but the road is generally quiet even in the day and extra quiet from sunset onwards. We got a spacious balcony that opened up to a wonderful view of the gorge. We only stayed one night which seemed typical for many of the guests but this place seems to be run very well. Bob also explained how to get to the gorge in great detail. The beginning of the trail to the gorge is only a few minutes away on foot but you can also drive and park there. Bonus: Charlie the good girl is just the sweetest.

Jag rekommenderar detta hotell i alla avseenden eftersom för ett så lågt pris får du mycket tillbaka. Rymligt rum och badrum. Effektiv luftkonditionering och bra frukost. Tjänsten var fenomenalt trevlig och boendeprocessen var snabb. Mycket snyggt inrett inuti. Jag rekommenderar det definitivt.

This is probably one of the best. We arrived in sunset went through the lobby outside, and then the view just came at us. wow. Ahmed was really friendly and walked with us around the property and showed us the room which was really spacious and with the most amazing balcony I ever had. Everything about this place is cute. it is well decorated, the structure is authentic built on top of the hill and has a really nice garden. we just loved it!

Fabulous hotel. Everything was perfect. The hotel is perfectly located. The pool area is beautiful with view to the palms, and there are plenty of other relaxing areas to curl up and read a books and with a high free Wi-Fi. The staff were excellent,. Would highly recommend. Thank you chez le Pacha

Our only regret was that we could only stay one night. We booked a one night stay here to break up our transit from Marrakech to Merzouga. We had had a rough couple of days in Marrakech and was this a welcome oasis! The property is aesthetically beautiful, the rooms are super comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. We paid $12 per person for the fixed menu and it was A LOT of tasty food so I would highly recommend that.

The hotel is located at the end of the street and has a large parking lot. The terrace and the pool on the roof are really nice and good for relaxing after activities in the hot sun. Very good view of the city and the hills from the terrace and from the rooms. The hotel interior has a rustic but not old-fashioned colonial style. More exclusive than the sober functional modern hotels. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and dinner (large buffet), Moroccan and Spanish style. Alcohol can be ordered at typical higher prices (high tax). Rooms are very nice and rustic decorated, large, well equipped and clean. Stable quality since 2016 (our first visit).

If you are on a long journey across the country, desert or Atlas, this is a fabulous stop on your way for lodging or even just a cozy meal. The hospitality and family atmosphere could not be beat. The food was out of this world and enjoyed on a scenic terrace overlooking the river valley. There isn't really a town per say, but this establishment seems to be the anchor in the area. We spent the afternoon playing Uno on the terrace followed by a homemade dinner in a private dining room. We slept well and enjoyed the immediate hot water and nice bathrooms (the hottest water on demand of our whole trip!). We stayed in the family style room and it was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 1 kiddo. After a filling breakfast the staff gave us directions for a hike to collect crystals and geodes. Hammer included! We'll never forget our stay at Dar Isselday. Huge thanks to the lovely staff and management. So glad we found you. Can't wait to send our friends your way.
